After a couple of years with Sinclair and one year with FloSports, D.C. United has returned to an old friend: NBC Sports Washington, the successor of Comcast SportsNet, will broadcast D.C. United’s games for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. NBCSW and TeleXitos will both broadcast up to 33 games this season, with Dave Johnson returning to broadcast the Black-and-Red as he has every year, and Moises Linares will be the lead broadcaster for the broadcasts on TeleXitos.
The “up to” 33 games is doing some work in that announcement, because the main downside to NBCSW/Comcast SportsNet in the past has been the fact that, given that they also have the rights to the Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards, some games will likely be bumped to NBCSW+.
