Andonovski, a greater Kansas City resident, stepped down as U.S. coach shortly after the four-time champions were eliminated in the round of 16, its worst performance in program history.
Andonovski, 47, had a 51-5-9 record but failed to win the 2021 Olympic gold medal (the Americans settled for bronze) or 2023 World Cup title.
