The Euro 2020 tournament is now well into the knockout stage, where standings points and goal differential are jettisoned in favor of pure wins and losses. Just eight teams remain, with four quarterfinals looming.
A reminder on the knockout-round rules: If the score is tied after 90 minutes, the teams will play two 15-minute extra-time periods, and if the score remains tied after that, the teams will conduct a penalty-kick shootout.
