Euro 2020 group standings, tiebreaker rules and advancement scenarios

With the third and final round of Euro 2020 group-stage play set to begin Sunday, here’s a look at where things stand in each group as we look ahead to the knockout round. As a reminder: The first- and second-place teams in each group qualify for the knockout round, along with the top four third-place teams.

Here’s the group-stage tiebreaker procedure, as explained by UEFA. Teams get three points for a win and one point for a draw, and the team with the most points wins the group. If two or more teams are tied in points at the end of group play, ties are broken via the following:
