A reminder on the knockout-round rules: If the score is tied after 90 minutes, the teams will play two 15-minute extra-time periods, and if the score remains tied after that, the teams will conduct a penalty-kick shootout. Teams also will be allowed to make a sixth substitution, but only during extra time. (In the group stage, teams were allowed five substitutions.)
