At 26, Deshorn Brown already knows the business well: He’s a Jamaican forward who attended college in Alabama and Florida, launched his career in Colorado, sought adventure in Norway and riches in China, returned to Florida for a short spell this spring and set foot in Washington on Monday.
He is not a journeyman, for that implies he’s unwanted. Rather, Brown’s career was on the rise until hitting a roadblock in China over the winter.
