After the District of Columbia announced today that they would accept applications from sports teams to exceed attendance restrictions, it came out shortly thereafter that D.C. United had been approved to operate Audi Field at 10% capacity, or 2,000 fans. This would mark the first time since 7 March 2020, when over 17,000 people saw United beat Inter Miami, that fans will be allowed to see the team play in-person.
