The team gives Colorado a player for their roster, but who will be taking his place?
Steve Goff first mentioned (and the team has since made official) that D.C. United has traded forward Conor Doyle to the Colorado Rapids for a third round draft pick. Doyle, 24, played 56 games for D.C., starting 19, and scored 4 goals and an assist during his time in Black-and-Red.
Being traded out of the Eastern Conference, Doyle will have to find another pet team to score on, splitting those goals against the Chicago Fire and Montreal Impact.
