D.C. is apparently looking at an old vanquisher but isn't alone in the hunt.
According to Costa Rican outlet Teletica.com, D.C. United is not only evaluating but has made an offer to Jonathan McDonald, a 5-foot-8 inch forward. That name might sound familiar, as McDonald scored against the Black-and-Red in the first leg of last year's CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals for LD Alajuelense, where he had been playing for the last three years.
McDonald, 28, has scored 34 goals the last two seasons for los Rojinegros, but was put on the transfer list last month.
