D.C. United maintained its midseason march Sunday with a rare occurrence (a comeback victory), a flashback to 2011 (an Andy Najar goal) and two increasingly frequent events (an Ola Kamara goal and a Buzzard Point celebration).
With those elements, a season that began with lingering questions and low expectations has taken a marvelous turn and rocketed Coach Hernán Losada’s squad within three points of second place in MLS’s Eastern Conference.
Kamara scored in his fifth consecutive appearance, shattering a deadlock with CF Montreal early in the second half of a 2-1 victory before 14,169 at Audi Field.
