Earlier today D.C. United announced it was mutually terminating the contract of Sebastien Le Toux. The 33-year old midfielder was one of 13 players in MLS history to record 55 goals and 55 assists over a 9-year MLS career with 6 clubs. In 16 games with the Black-and-Red this year, Le Toux started 8, with goals in back to back games in April against the New England Revolution and Atlanta United FC.
In the midst of D.C.’s recent roster moves, it was believed he would also be shopped.
