D.C. United will travel to Ohio late this week without two starting midfielders — and five players in all — who were summoned for international duty. Zoltan Stieber (Hungary) and Ulises Segura (Costa Rica) will miss Saturday’s MLS match against the Columbus Crew, which will proceed without U.S. call-ups Zack Steffen and Wil Trapp.
The other D.C. players on assignment are Jamaican defender Oniel Fisher, who started the first two games of the season; Jamaican forward Dane Kelly; and Bolivian attacker Bruno Miranda. The latter two have been loaned to the second-division Richmond Kickers and wouldn’t have figured into this weekend’s match, anyway.
