D.C. United goalkeeper Travis Worra, who posted a shutout in his first MLS start last weekend, will return to the lineup Sunday against the Colorado Rapids at RFK Stadium, Coach Ben Olsen said Friday.
The second-year pro from the University of New Hampshire was thrust into the top slot because of long-term injuries to Bill Hamid (knee) and Andrew Dykstra (back). The other active keeper is Charlie Horton, who signed two weeks ago.
“Travis played last week and we had a shutout, so that wasn’t in the discussion,” Olsen said of possibly starting Horton, a former Leeds United prospect and current U.
