D.C. United has moved the June 22 home match against the New England Revolution to June 25 because Saturdays are better than Wednesdays for ticket sales and RFK Stadium accessibility.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. and NewsChannel 8 will provide coverage. Original tickets will be accepted at the gate. Ticket holders wanting to exchange for a different match or request a refund should call the club.
The June 25 date was initially unavailable. A 5K race is taking place that morning on the RFK campus but was never going to cause scheduling conflicts. United learned recently that it could, in fact, play on the 25th and decided to take advantage of the weekend slot.
