Welcome home, D.C. United.
For the first time since June 1, United is slated to play an MLS match at RFK Stadium on Saturday when it takes on the New England Revolution. But it better not get too comfortable: United won’t play another home match until it hosts the Montreal Impact on July 31.
With just four goals and one win posted in seven road outings this season, United must capitalize on familiar turf this weekend if it hopes to stay in the playoff picture.
“We want to pick up as many points as we can at home with our fan support behind us,” United defender Kofi Opare said.
