Three months since firing its head coach and two since the season ended under an interim boss, D.C. United remains undecided about who will guide the MLS team in 2021 and beyond.
The organization had aimed to fill the position in December, but with the league uncertain when training camps will open and the season will start, club officials have not seemed in a rush.
One person familiar with the search — who, like others who interviewed, remained anonymous so as to freely discuss the situation — said the pool of candidates remains substantial as the club weighs new contenders from abroad.
