We now have an exact map of the FloSports geofence, along with the description that allowed us to create the map. In our previous geofence post, there were some questions about the extent of the fence in Virginia, primarily in the Hampton Roads region, the Richmond region, and in western Virginia. We now know the exact parameters that determine whether or not you are in the FloSports region or have to watch the game on ESPN+ with the away team announcers.
You are within the FloSports geofence if:
- You live in Maryland
- You live in Delaware
- You live in Virginia and are within a 100 mile radius of Audi Field
- You live in West Virginia and are within a 100 mile radius of Audi Field
This means that the entire City of Richmond is within the geofence and basically all of the Hampton Roads region is outside of the geofence.
