Good morning! And it is always a good morning when D.C. United beats the New York Red Bulls to get back above the playoff line, send the Red Bulls below the playoff line, and clinch this year’s Atlantic Cup. The job isn’t done, by any stretch, but the team did what they needed to do last night.

It wasn’t pretty (except when Kevin Paredes was scoring), but D.C. United won 1-0 against the New York Red Bulls to get back above the playoff line. Excellent goalkeeping by Bill Hamid and some timely defensive plays helped see out the win, where United were under siege for long stretches of the game.
