D.C. United has announced their roster decisions heading into the 2020 MLS season. Today’s decisions leave the the club with 16 players on their roster, leaving plenty of room to revamp a team that will have to move on from Wayne Rooney and Luciano Acosta.
United announced that it has exercised team-held options on Steven Birnbaum, Emmanuel Boateng, Russell Canouse, Oniel Fisher, Joseph Mora, Junior Moreno, Chris Odoi-Atsem and Ulises Segura. Those eight are joined by Yamil Asad, Paul Arriola, Ola Kamara, Felipe Martins, Moses Nyeman, Donovan Pines and Griffin Yow, who already had contracts for 2020.
