With the season opener 10 days away, D.C. United on Wednesday strengthened its backline by acquiring Conner Antley from the second-division Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Transfer terms were not disclosed by either team. Antley, who will turn 29 next month, signed a two-year contract with a one-year club option.
The Atlanta native made 102 appearances and posted 14 assists across all competitions over three seasons with the Rowdies.
“Conner has been a consistent and dependable defender in the USL Championship over the last few seasons,” Ally Mackay, United’s general manager and chief soccer officer, said in a statement.
