With its attack neutralized, the Maryland men’s soccer team turned to Canadian goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair to earn a 0-0 draw with superior Indiana in the Big Ten opener Friday.
While the fifth-ranked Terrapins (4-0-1) failed to register a shot on goal – “I don’t remember a game where we didn’t have a shot,” Coach Sasho Cirovski said of his 25 seasons in College Park – St. Clair came to the rescue with two breathtaking saves in overtime to thwart the No. 4 Hoosiers (4-0-1) before 6,981 at Ludwig Field.
“Sash isn’t happy. We’re not happy,” co-captain George Campbell said.
