D.C. United’s revamped, energetic style of play lately had generated scoring opportunities but not enough goals. The team had been held scoreless in its past two outings, and it didn’t help that United has been juggling injuries and absences.
But against Inter Miami on Saturday, United finally turned those chances into goals — two from forward Ola Kamara and one from winger Paul Arriola — and a 3-0 victory, the first time D.C. has won on the road this season.
