When the Copa America rolls around this summer, D.C. United will have at least one player participating. United forward Alvaro Saborio has made Los Ticos' 23 man roster for the tournament, joining such MLS players as Kendall Waston, Christian Bolanos, and Johan Venegas. Former D.C. United trialist Arial Rodriguez also made the final roster. He will depart the team after Friday's game, and will miss at least two league matches, against Sporting Kansas City and the Seattle Sounders. If Costa Rica were to make it out of group A, Saborio could miss two more league matches, against Houston Dynamo and the New England Revolution.
