Whom might Stars target in first round of NHL draft? Here are nine possibilities

Special contributor Josh Lile looks at nine players the Stars could target in the first round.

Forward Joel Farabee

Farabee, a Boston University pledge, is obviously on the smallish side at 5-11. But he certainly produces. His linemates Oliver Wahlstrom and Jack Hughes are expected to be high first-round picks this year and in 2019, respectively. Farabee had 40 points in 26 games for the U.S. National Team Development Program playing with Wahlstrom and Hughes.

Forward Barrett Hayton

Hayton wouldn't be the most exciting pick, but he is one of the more likely prospects in this draft to have a long, quality career.
