The forward situation for the Stars has become more scrambled as they try to nail down what the opening lineup might look like on Oct. 13.
Center Tyler Seguin, who suffered a hairline fracture in the heel during the World Cup of Hockey, is skating in full practices but won't play against the Los Angeles Kings in the Stars' final exhibition game Friday in Las Vegas. Still, coach Lindy Ruff said he believes Seguin will be ready for the season opener "in all likelihood."
"We want to get him to be where he's comfortable playing," Ruff said.
