CALGARY, Alberta -- After Tyler Seguin assisted on Jamie Benn's second-period power-play goal, he retreated to the Stars bench, where he had some business to tend to.
Seguin reached behind the bench to Todd Nelson -- the Stars' assistant coach who runs the power play -- and grabbed an imaginary animal off his back and threw it into the crowd. With Benn's goal and Seguin's assist, the monkey was off Nelson's back.
The Stars' power play entered Wednesday's 4-3 overtime victory in Calgary in a massive slump, scoring on just 9.26 percent of chances across their last 20 games.
