For the second straight year, Trevor Strader, the son of late Stars broadcaster Dave Strader, sang the national anthem before Monday's game at the Stars' "Hockey Fights Cancer" night.
Dave passed away on Oct. 1 of cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. He was 62.
