Trevor Daley’s NHL career began on June 23rd, 2003 when he was drafted 43rd overall in the Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars. From there he played his final season for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds before having his NHL debut during the 2003-2004 season.
He went on to score six points (1G, 5A) in his twenty-seven game season before joining the Hamilton Bulldogs during the 2004-2005 NHL Lockout. When hockey returned to Dallas the following year, Daley played all but one game and he would continue to appear in at least seventy games for the next six seasons.
