WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Even the Stars' curse over the Washington Capitals couldn't save the road trip from hell.
Dallas once again did a lot of things right, but did just enough things wrong to lose a 4-3 game to the Capitals Tuesday. It stopped a six-game Dallas winning streak in Washington, was the first regulation loss to the Capitals for the Stars in 14 games (10-1-3), and ended a six-game road trip at 0-4-2.
"The road trip from hell is over, and now we go home," said center Tyler Seguin.
The defeat could mean even a return to the American Airlines Center might not be enough to save this team.
