Maybe the biggest shock for Stars fans this season was the painful fall from expectations to reality.
The season started with many experts saying this team was poised for a run at the Stanley Cup, and ended with Dallas missing the playoffs for the eighth time in the past 10 seasons.
So where are we now?
Is this a team that can compete? Is this a team that needs a rebuild? Is this a team that even knows what it is?
