Cedar Park, TX - The Texas Stars saw their winning streak snapped at eight, but still managed to come away with a point in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Rockford IceHogs (Chicago Blackhawks affiliate) in front of 5,787 Wednesday night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park From the outset, the night's success didn't seem to be in the cards for Texas as for the first time in nine games the Stars didn't score first. Just 2:20 into the opening frame with the IceHogs on the power play blueliner Alec Regula took a cross ice pass from Buddy Robinson and found an opening on Stars goalie Anton Khudobin and fired one past the sprawling netminder from the top of the left circle to give Rockford the very early 1-0 lead.
