Texas continues to amass points but has had no luck gaining ground in the standings thus far. With Manitoba and Tucson on the schedule this weekend, their eight game point streak (7-0-1) is going to be challenged, especially by the Roadrunners, who are second in the league coming into the weekend.
Tucson (19-5) will play San Antonio on Friday night and have been on a winning tear, losing just twice since the start of November. Pending the results of Friday's game, they will be no worse than 8-2 in their last ten and possibly 9-1, if they can get two points in the Alamo City.
