The Texas Stars couldn’t get off the schneid on Thursday and dropped a third consecutive game, falling to the Ontario Reign 5-3. Ontario’s leading scorers Matt Luff and Matt Moulson came to play, tallying three and two points respectively. Rookie Sheldon Rempal found the net twice including the game winner.
The Stars got the start they were looking for on the road with a goal from Adam Mascherin that came on the first shot for Texas. Mascherin finished the game with a helper to go with his tally.
