In a reschedule of the game postponed by the winter storm in February, Texas fell to San Jose 4-2 in California this evening. The defense had the scoring for the Stars with Jerad Rosburg and Ben Gleason notching their first and second goals of the season, respectively. Despite the loss, Adam Scheel got the third star of the game, stopping 36 of 39 including 21 in a wild second period flurry.
Here's the release:
The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, fell 4-2 to the San Jose Barracuda tonight and have now split the first four games of their six-game season series.
