The Stars announced Tuesday that they have signed defenseman Michael Karow to an AHL contract for 2022-23. The blue liner ended the season with Texas on an ATO after completing his collegiate career at Michigan Tech.
Karow was originally drafted by Arizona in the 2017 draft, and Texas had to wait until Monday for his rights with Arizona to expire before signing him.
He has already knocked off several AHL firsts with his short stint in Texas last year with his first goal and assist coming in the same game. That goal was also a game-winner.
