Looking to add more punch to their offense, the Texas Stars have signed Brendan O'Donnell out of the Florida Everblades. O'Donnell ranks fifth in ECHL scoring, racking up 29-26=55 in 42 games played. He has not been on an AHL deal anywhere in his career, so Texas may have an opportunity here to lock him in for future seasons if he does well.
Here's the release:

O’Donnell, 24, joins the Stars from the ECHL’s Florida Everblades, where he was playing his second professional season.
