Texas continued to add depth to their lineup today with the signing of Ben Zloty. The defenseman was invited to Dallas's development camp in July after completing a four-year career with the Winnipeg Ice. He was nearly a point per game player in the regular season (189 points in 207 games) and was north of that in the playoffs (40 points in 34 games).
Zloty adds to the list of rookies that Texas expects to ice next season. Lian Bichsel, Gavin White, Artem Grushnikov, Christian Kyrou and now Zloty will all get a chance at time with the AHL crew.
