Just a quick note today that all six players on waivers yesterday cleared and were assigned to Texas today. That includes forwards Cameron Hughes, Kole Lind and Emilio Pettersen, defensemen Kyle Capobianco and Alexander Petrovic, and goaltender Magnus Hellberg.
In a corresponding move, Texas assigned goalie Bryan Thomson to Idaho as they begin camp on Monday. Texas also released forwards Kelly Bent and Lynden McCallum, as well as defenseman Mike Vorlicky from their training camp tryouts.
Bent was the only PTO among the Texas crew not already signed in Idaho. He will head to Orlando, where he is signed with the Solar Bears.
