When Dallas did not qualify goalie Landon Bow earlier this month, it seemed to set up a very youthful duo in net for the Texas Stars with Jake Oettinger and Colton Point manning the pipes. Jim Nill confirmed that the pairing was the plan for the AHL club in 2021 on his end of season conference call.
Now, however, Dallas has re-signed Landon Bow on a one-year, two-way deal after letting him head to free agency first. His new deal is exactly the same as his last, 700,000 in the NHL and 90 in the AHL. His qualifying offer would have been 735 at minimum, and Dallas saves real dollars by signing this contract with Bow.
