The Texas Stars lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday night, failing to hang onto to a third period lead that resulted in a 6-4 final score. Standing points were there for the taking as they came out with a 3-0 lead in the first period, but they have to settle for only one of six available so far on this four-game road trip.
