I took a little bit of time to think about this, but I will be stepping away from Defending Big D for personal reasons. I will still be writing for WFAA and toiling away on Twitter, but the time of needing to respond quickly to a set game schedule has passed me by.
But let's not bury the lede here. Taylor Baird will be taking over as the new Managing Editor for the site. She and Erin Bolen are, and have been for a while, the backbone of the administrative side of the site as well as consistent contributors of high quality content.
