Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin will miss three to four weeks with a cut Achilles' tendon, the team announced Friday.
According to the team, it's a 15 percent cut of the tendon. With that timeline, Dallas GM Jim Nill said Seguin would return in time for the playoffs.
Seguin's Achilles' tendon was cut during the third period of Thursday's 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. With about 20 seconds left in the game, Seguin came out to defend Tampa's Anton Stralman at the blue line where the two briefly tangled and it appeared the cut occurred.
