The Stars will go with a grittier, younger lineup Thursday when they play preseason Game No. 2 at Colorado at 8 p.m.
In addition to giving players like Jason Dickinson, Roope Hintz and Denis Gurianov a good look, Dallas will play grinders such as Adam Cracknell, Antoine Roussel, Remi Elie and Curtis McKenzie. It's a good chance to show the kind of battle for the puck the Stars will be seeking under new coach Ken Hitchcock.
"The key for us is playing in the offensive zone, and to do that you have to have the puck," Hitchcock said.
