Less than 24 hours after a mess of a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, the Dallas Stars were back at it for the second game of a back-to-back on the road. This time, they had the support of Stars captain Jamie Benn back in the lineup. Benn had what looked like a knee injury in the first game of the season and hadn’t played since.
Max McCormick took a hit from Blake Comeau in last night’s game and was placed on injured reserve for the Hurricanes. Petr Mrazek remains on the Hurricanes’ active roster after leaving with an apparent injury in yesterday’s game as well, but James Reimer was tapped to man the pipes tonight.
