After recording a 1-1-1 record through the round-robin style games of the Traverse City Tournament, the Dallas Stars will meet the Carolina Hurricanes today to determine who claims 5th place and who claims 6th place in the eight-team prospect tournament.

Since the Stars aren’t playing for a tournament win here, they’ll sit some of their best prospects today: Miro Heiskanen, Roope Hintz, and Colton Point all will get the day off. It’s honestly not a bad move, considering that training camp opens on Friday and it’s not worth it to have one of these guys injured before they get on the ice with the rest of the team this week.
