The Dallas Stars helped Canada to the gold medal at the 2015 IIHF World Championships Sunday in one of the most dominating performances in tournament history.
Canada defeated Russia, 6-1, in the championship game in Prague and finished the tournament with a 66-15 advantage in scoring. The Canadians captured a bonus of $1 million Swiss francs by winning all 10 games in regulation.
Jason Spezza led the tournament in scoring with 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in 10 games and was named Outstanding Forward for the tournament. Tyler Seguin had nine goals to lead the tournament, including one in the championship game.
