The Stars received solid goaltending Tuesday.
They got the breaks.
They didn't deserve to win.
A Dallas team that has been battling injuries, illness and bad luck for much of the season got a bit of payback from the hockey gods ... and then simply found a way to lose to the Calgary Flames, 2-1.
"It wasn't good enough," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. "We played a disastrous second period, we should have been down three or four with our puck management. At the end of the night, it's karma. You get what you deserve.
