Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop sustained an injury in the third period and left the ice shortly after during the team's Game 6 Western Conference Semifinals matchup at home with the St. Louis Blues.
Bishop went down in the mid-stages of third period after taking a shot from St. Louis defenseman Colton Parayko to the collarbone. The Blues, who led 2-1 at the time, scored while Bishop was down to extend the lead to 3-1. NHL rules do not call for a stoppage of play in such scenarios until the injured player's team has possession of the puck.
