Stars' 'free-wheeling' offense will make it tough on opposing goalies, and their own

CEDAR PARK -- The Stars are an organization that values offense, and that's going to make it tough on goalies.

Especially their own.

Dallas continued it's free-wheeling ways Sunday in an intrasquad scrimmage, as defensmen scored five goals in a 7-4 game. Newcomer Nick Ebert had a hat trick, and minor league defensemen Julius Honka and Mattias Backman also contributed goals.

"I thought it was a real good day on the offensive side for our defensemen," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. "Ebert, who is new to the crew here, had a real good day. I thought Honka skated well and scored a goal.
