FRISCO -- Prior to this past week, the last time Andrew Cogliano missed a game due to injury, he was a teenager. Not in college at Michigan, not in the NHL with Edmonton or Anaheim did Cogliano ever miss a game injured. But Cogliano has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury and could miss a third Tuesday against the Rangers.
Cogliano returned to Stars practice on Monday morning, but wore a blue non-contact jersey. Stars coach Jim Montgomery labeled Cogliano as doubtful for Tuesday, but probable for Thursday against Colorado.
Cogliano was hurt during the first period of Tuesday's loss to Vegas, when Ryan Reaves drove Cogliano into the boards after Cogliano got rid of the puck in the neutral zone.
